Check your year model out cart is 1989 and original factory installed clutch will not allow for lift without modifying your frame. I gave this lift 5 starts because I wouldn’t want you to think it’s American Lift’s fault. All parts looked good welds looked good, and everything lined up. Instructions are not great you better have a good mechanical understanding of how a lift works. Pictures in instructions are very poor quality. This however does not make me want to give the lift a bad rating but there is room for improvement on factory’s part, but I’m quite certain they aren’t selling many of these lifts for these old carts anymore. From order date to my front door also took about 6 weeks. As long as your not in a hurry and you can wrench this is a well built lift kit.

The Yamaha 4" lift kit worked out well. Installation went smoothly. The instructions would be better if right and left were marked...The company was great to do business with, especially Judy. Thanks Punkyjewels
